I’ve Been Accepted To North Park Theological Seminary!

I got the call yesterday. I’ve been accepted into the M.Div program at North Park Theological Seminary, my denomination’s school!

*breathes into paper bag*

I’m elated. And terrified. And praying HARD for scholarships, so I can afford to do this without taking out more student loans than I can pay off before retirement. (Laugh if you want, but even if I went full-time, my oldest will be out of high school before I’m out of seminary!!! #YesIKnowILookSoYoungIGotItFromMyDad)

Now, I’ve got to finish up my work at Northwestern, and get some other ducks in a row (although in reality, my life is more like herding cats than lining up ducks–but whatever).

I’d welcome prayers as I finish my work at Northwestern, apply for scholarships, and try to discern the best path forward.

I am so excited.

And also overwhelmed.

But mostly excited.

I think.

I may be in shock.

    That is awesome. We have been in the Covenant denomination for 6 years and more glad every year. I have met the most amazing men and women come out of the seminary. Praying for much money for tuition for you!!!

      Thanks Patty! I grew up in the ECC, and the more I learn about it, the more I love it! It’s a great place to be, that’s for sure.
