Hey friends! I need your help.
I’m trying my darndest to go girl-boy-girl-boy on the editorial calendar for the Equally Yoked series, since marriage involves both women and men, and gender equity is kinda the point. But apparently I know more female bloggers than males, and the submissions have been–well–not exactly equal. I’ll need more stories from the male perspective by the time the snow begins to melt.
So, who are some of your favorite male bloggers? Whose perspective would you like to hear on mutuality in marriage, engagement, dating, etc.?
Ladies, by all means, keep the posts coming! And if you know women you think should be blogging for this series, PLEASE, let them and me know!
But hey, if you want to grab some of your guy friends and bring them along too, bonus.
Feel free to link to bloggers (male and female) you think would be a good fit in the comments section, and to send this link to anyone you think might be interested in writing for the Equally Yoked series. (Oh, and don’t forget to volunteer yourselves, too!)
Thanks all! Have a great Valentines Day!

I would ask Brian LePort at nearemmaus.com, John Armstrong at johnharmstrong.com, Rhett Smith at Rhettsmith.com
Eric Reitan. http://thepietythatliesbetween.blogspot.com.au/
and James McGahey http://jamesmcgahey.blogspot.com.au/
Bill Scarrott at The Jesus Society just blogged on marriage for me. Great stuff!
Marg at http://newlife.id.au/margs-articles/
KR at http://krwordgazer.blogspot.com/
I don’t know if Eric Pazdziora is married, (I never even heard him use the word egalitarian) but he has a particularly grace-filled outlook which had him writing for among others Quivering Daughters (a site for women who grew up in the oppressive “Christian” patriarchy movement).
His outlook make him someone whose Christian blog posts I love to read.

Or perhaps gengwall, a male egal blogger, can contribute:

PS: TL, We agree. Those are my favorite egal bloggers too.
I am reading Shawn and Maile Smucker’s ‘How to Use a Runaway Truck Ramp’. Anyone suggested them? And congrats on seminary
I love Dale and Jonalyn Fincher. Dale’s blog is here http://www.soulation.org/freeatlast/.
But, if you click on the upper left “Soulation” button, you can see all their web places. I’ve read much more from Jonalyn on her blog (http://soulation.org/jonalynblog/) on marriage. But, maybe Dale would be willing?
I don’t know how I forgot Ed. Ed Cyzewski! http://inamirrordimly.com/
If he’s not too booked on writing, I bet he’d love to do this!
And, another man blogger I like is Seth Haines. I honestly don’t know if he is Egal, though. http://sethhaines.wordpress.com/
Ed’s on board.
And the Finchers are a great idea! I’ve read their stuff on marriage before–good stuff!
Thanks for all the great leads, everyone!
You could try Tom Blubagh or Jay Squires. I don’t know their viewpoints but they write good blogs. Tom: http://www.tomblubaugh.net/
