Quiet, Snowy Weekends and Other Things to be Thankful For

Well, tomorrow morning I’m off to a cabin in the woods (many thanks to my hosts, Bonnie and Doug!) to start cobbling together an outline and book proposal for a project on mutual marriage. I’ve NEVER had a weekend to myself, just to write, so I am still kind of in shock! Your prayers would be very appreciated. Please pray for Aaron and the kids, too–they’ve all been under the weather, which kinda puts a damper on their weekend plans. I’m so thankful to Aaron for pushing me to do this, and taking on the single dad thing for the weekend.

The winner of February’s Equally Yoked comment drawing is Larry–who happens to be my dad! So, Dad, when “Families Where Grace Is In Place: Building a Home Free of Manipulation, Legalism, and Shame” shows up in the mail, I’m not making a hint or anything. You and Mom totally rocked it. Obviously. 😉

I haven’t decided what March’s book is going to be yet, and I’m too tired to decide tonight, so you’re just going to have to wait until Sarah Bessey’s Equally Yoked post on Monday to find out what it is.

Have a great weekend, all! And thank you again for all the book ideas–I’ll be carrying them with me into my quiet, snowy, Northern Minnesota weekend.
