When God is Not Your Enemy

Sometimes, when there’s a lot to be done and life seems overwhelming, I wonder if the work I am putting in is worth the cost (which, I will not lie, is high at times). And then, by the grace of God, I get emails quoting teenage girls from East Africa:

“Ever since, I knew that God created males above women with super wisdom and power. In my late year, I’ve never been a fan of the church because I was convinced that God created males to be superior while females are lesser beings inferior to men. My best enemy has been the Bible and God and I hated this Christian God who did not create me to be a male.”

But her school has been using Called Out, the curriculum I wrote, and her understanding of God, God’s character, and God’s love for her has shifted.

“One thing I can be proud of now having gone through biblical lessons on gender equality is that, God is not and cannot be my enemy. God did not create me inferior and second class citizen. The Bible too is not against women. We are all equal regardless of being male and female and this is good news.” (Read the whole article here.)

The Bible too is not against women.

Oh, friends.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Imma keep going.
