Today has been a good day. It is the twentieth anniversary of my marriage to my wonderful husband Aaron (yay!!!), I’m still caught up in the excitement of the release of Don’t Hide Your Light Under a Laundry Basket, and I had a wonderful interview for a writing project that is coming down the pike.
On top of all that, I signed the contract for my next writing project, tentatively titled Taming the Tongue: Speaking with Wisdom in an Age of Outrage. You guys, I am so excited about this project. Proverbs 12:18 says “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” Our words have so much power, and the way we wield them matters. That’s why I am thrilled to be writing a Discovery Series booklet on this topic. (If you aren’t already familiar with the Discovery Series, you need to check it out!)
